Keeping it real, Folsom does not have a lot of Asian restaurants serving authentic dishes, that includes ramen. So thank goodness that Umami Ramen opened up shop about 8 months ago. This newest Folsom ramen eatery is the real deal. Delicious ramen indeed!
The eatery is casual, counter service. Even though it's casual, the decor was clean and had a basic modern updated interior. They have a self ordering tablet but I ordered with the live person who happened to be the owner. He had such a great spirit and enthusiasm.

Great new Ramen restaurant. Truly fills a nice void. Menu is pretty simple. Your order is placed on IPADs. Pretty easy to use.
The menu is basically Ramen and a couple rice plates and handful of appetizers. Service is good and they are checkin to make sure you are satisfied. The portion of Ramen is filling. The chicken appetizer was so good. Basically a fried chicken appetizer.
Can't wait to try more. Yea they have a couple beers. Looks like outdoor dining was available.
